Last week I went 6-7 and am now 52-51 on the season. My lock of the week, Pittsburgh, covered and I am now 5-2 with that pick. I should have done much better last Sunday, considering it was the worst day ever for Vegas.Sunday, Nov 1, 2009
1:00 PM Houston Texans (4-3)
-3.5
at Buffalo Bills (3-4)
This Texans team is starting to come on, although I have no idea what that was last week in the second half. I expect them to come out and handle their business knowing that if they really want to make the playoffs, this is a must win.
1:00 PM at Chicago Bears (3-3)
-13.5
Cleveland Browns (1-6)
This line should be a little bit higher as Cleveland is that bad. Where did you go Matt Forte?
1:00 PM at Dallas Cowboys (4-2)
-9.5
Seattle Seahawks (2-4)
It's always more fun to root against the Cowboys. Seriously, though, they are a dysfunctional offense and need to fire their coach. Most over-rated 4-2 team.
1:00 PM at Detroit Lions (1-5)
-3.5
St. Louis Rams (0-7)
This is mostly based on Stafford and Megatron playing and them being at home.
1:00 PM at Indianapolis Colts (6-0)
-12.5
San Francisco 49ers (3-3)
The Colts are looking very good and I expect for the 49ers to give them somewhat of a fight, but once the Colts get an early lead, this one will be over.
1:00 PM at New York Jets (4-3)
-3.5
Miami Dolphins (2-4)
Revenge game for the Jets. I like them to have a fired up Rex Ryan that won't let the defense get exploited like that again.
1:00 PM at Baltimore Ravens (3-3)
-3.5
Denver Broncos (6-0)
The Ravens do not have a great defense any more, but at home, I like them to get over a Broncos team that will finally have a let down.
1:00 PM at Philadelphia Eagles (4-2)
-2.5
New York Giants (5-2)
Against the Redskins on MNF, the Eagles should have dominated them, but instead they got an early lead then fell asleep. I'm betting that they're still the same team two weeks in a row.
4:05 PM at Tennessee Titans (0-6)
-2.5
Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3)
The wildcard in this game is Vince Young, but if it took Jeff Fisher this long to play him, then that can't be a good thing.
4:05 PM at San Diego Chargers (3-3)
-16.5
Oakland Raiders (2-5)
The Chargers should win this game in a blowout, so that means I'm going to fade them. Again, what's up is down and what's down is up with the Chargers.
4:15 PM at Green Bay Packers (4-2)
-3.5
Minnesota Vikings (6-1)
The Favre-Bowl should be a good one... I like the Vikings to bounce back and win.
4:15 PM at Arizona Cardinals (4-2)
-9.5
Carolina Panthers (2-4)
Remember when Jake Delhomme started his slide into unemployment? It was last year's playoffs versus this Cardinals team. This one could be just as bad.

8:30 PM at New Orleans Saints (6-0)
-9.5
Atlanta Falcons (4-2)
After last weekend, you just can't bet against the Saints. Michael Turner has quietly been disappointing as he's only averaging 3.4 yards per carry and has only 1 hundred yard game. If they can't run the ball, this Saints defense could feast in the pass game.
